Food and Necessities Program
last Tuesday of every month 4pm-6pm
Community outreach is extended to over 12,000 people annually through our food and necessities program. The food pantry provides groceries and hot meals to the needy the last Tuesday of every month 4pm-6pm. An application must be completed to receive food. Household products are distributed as received and include items like blankets, sheets, pillows, pots and pans, small appliances, and much more. All food and household items are always free of charge. Persons desiring to volunteer must complete a training prior to serving. Because our food pantry serves so many people, we were selected are participating in a five-year hunger study conducted by Purdue University. Participation to complete an additional hunger with Ball State University is forthcoming. See posted literature for more information about the study. We encourage corporate product donations and monetary donations for us to continue providing these free service to the community. Please consider helping out by giving a tax-deductible donation. Thank you for helping us help others.
